Data Recovery from HDD with CE Log Error

There is a typical malfunction called CE Log Error, in which the HDD can be detected but outputs the following error message to the terminal (picture 1). Due to repeated CE Log Error report, it’s very slow to copy data. This always happen in HDDs, which belongs to Barracuda 7200.8, Barracuda 7200.9 and Barracuda 7200.10.

The problem is caused by corrupted Log modules and can be easily and well solved by CE Log Repair of HD Doctor for Seagate.

The procedure is very simple. First, Load from HDD and save APP module. Second, enter the menu of Boot Management and select the directory of APP module which has been saved in first step. After that, click CE Log Repair and wait for its finish. Problem will be solved then and it will be smooth to copy data. However, you should keep power on as all of that is done in RAM.
