A question for Shadowdisk

When CLONING – IMAGING patient drive, Do you suppose to select SHADOW DISK for DESTINATION in DC EXPLORER?

One of my clients sent me an email today,I think there is some misunderstanding between the shadow disk and the destination disk.

1.It’s unnecessary to connect a shadowdisk while you make a image. It will cause the transfer speed very slow. The fact is,when the data are transferring to the destination drive,in the mean while, there will be a copy transferring to the shadow disk. That is why the speed will get slower.

2.Shdowdisk is totally different from the destination drive.Only the data have been accessed normally by Data Compass can get a index in the shadow disk.
