Case of 7200.11

Today I encountered a case of 7200.11, in which the drive can be detected, but LBA is 0. Repair LBA=0 doesn’t work.

So I try the command “m,2,2,,,,,22″, but still it doesn’t work either.

Then I tried to erase G-List and Initialize SMART, but both failed. I know the problem may be in service area. There should be bad sectors there.

In this case, there are physical damage to service area, so the solution to repair LBA=0 will not work. And it seems impossible to recover such problem.
