This chip is usually used for Black I series.Because it’s a read-only chip,that is to say,you can’t edit the content of such chips.If you want to edit the rom,for example,depop the head,you have to swap the chip in the begenning.

2.29F

It’s a read-write chip that used for the Silver series.You can direct depop the head without swapping the rom chip.

3.25P10&25F10

These two chips usually appear on the Black series.Both of them can be read and written so you can depop the head without swapping the chips.
