Solutions for ES.2 series always busy problem

Last day I help George with a ES.2 drive. Please let me introduce this data recovery solution to you.

It’s a common fault for the ES.2 and 7200.11 series. The status keeps busy and LBA value is detected as 0.

I guess most of you guys already know how to solve this problems with 7200.11 series. For the ES.2 series, the procedure is a little different.

1st.Connect the drive to the hd doctor and select 7200.11 in the load management tab.

2nd.Get into the cmd mode, power off and on.Then you will see the error message:LED: 000000CC.

3rd.Press Ctrl+Z and you will see the F3 T> immediately.Oviously, you can input the command in the T level.

4th.If you don’t do anything, the error message will display some seconds later. So we need to do something to stop it.We must short circuit two points shown in the following image before the error message appear again.

SHORT

5th.Input /2 and then Z after the terminal shows the message “Input Command Eror”

6th.The following steps are as same as the 7200.11.

After these 6 steps, you can get back all your data from the ES.2 drives.
